This position will provide enough time to react to the serve and optimize the distribution of effort. The right start is the key to a successful reception. Remember to be ready for quick movements.   <\/span><\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"2_Move_your_feet\"><\/span><b>2. Move your feet<\/b><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Most players have a stronger forehand than a backhand. Therefore, it is advisable to receive most of the serves with the forehand. However, if the serve is directed to the backhand and it is difficult to beat it with the forehand, feel free to use the backhand &#8211; the main thing is to receive the serve well. Active footwork will allow you to take the optimal position for the shot.   <\/span><\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"3_Short_swings_and_concentration_on_the_ball\"><\/span><b>3. Short swings and concentration on the ball<\/b><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Short, controlled swings will help you maintain balance and accuracy. Keep your eyes on the ball during the entire reception to prevent unintentional mistakes. Concentration is an important aspect of a successful reception.  <\/span><\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"4_Vary_your_strokes\"><\/span>4. Vary your strokes<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Although most serves are best served deep and centered, shifting the ball slightly toward the opponent&#8217;s backhand, don&#8217;t be afraid to experiment. Varying your strokes makes it impossible for your opponent to predict your actions. <\/span><\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"5_Play_on_a_smaller_court\"><\/span>5. Play on a smaller court<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Do not try to reach the opponent&#8217;s baseline. Aim 60-90 cm away from it to avoid mistakes related to the ball going out of bounds.
